There’s a strong chance that everyone at some point while going through changes while Life Styling will hit a roadblock – it maybe you feel you’re putting so much effort into the foods your eating, you're exercising and getting your head around de-stressing, and still your results aren’t happening quick enough!
I certainly know how that feels – especially if you’re trying to make these changes all at once.
I’ve said it in an earlier post that Life Styling takes patience and faith, so if you have hit a wall there are a few things that I urge you to do….

i. Firstly, don’t beat yourself up, it is natural to feel frustration. I know when I get frustrated when I’m trying something new in any part of my life, I feel I have to go back and ask myself three questions “Why am I doing this?” and then “Is the reason I’m doing this important enough to persevere?” and “Am I willing to push through impatience and things not working straight away to achieve my final outcome?”. If all the answers are of the positive nature, I find my frustration turns into determination.
ii. Next thing is, “Are you trying to do too much all at once? Life Styling is made up of so many pieces to be fitted together – all of them will give amazing results – but when it is all new to you it can get overwhelming and far too much to handle. When I work with a client, we actually break down each area and concentrate the work firstly on the one that is going to give the biggest impact to the individual. It could be the biggest improvement will come with the foods – so that gets mastered first, and then gradually the other areas introduced. If I’m working with an extremely stressed client, then that would be the area we’d first address. And so on.
iii. Here is a big one while Life Styling – Celebrate. Any movement in the right direction big or small needs to be celebrated. Each celebrated achievement recorded will start to stack up and you start to see your progress. I think it’s always good to reward yourself as well. It might be as simple as ticking off a progression chart and then treat yourself to a spa day – or even creating your own home spa treatments that compliment everything that you’re doing on a regular basis – I’ve decided as I’m writing this that my next post will list some great home spa treatments.
I think it’s extremely important to share with you that I have had times of disappointment while Life Styling and have been impatient, but my goal of living pain-free and enjoying life to the maximum is so strong I knew I would not be defeated.
If you too have a big enough reason to start to begin Life Styling, I invite you to reach out.
